What Is Panafest?

Panafest 2027, the biennial festival honors African kinship, unity, resilience bringing together people from all over the diaspora to celebrate, and rejoice with music, and arts of the African experience.

It is cultural celebration that is dedicated to the Pan-African movement.

Panafest celebrates the strength and resilience of the African culture and their many achievements.

The festival has become a landmark festival in Ghana, and it will surely leave you with a lasting and unforgettable impression from Ghana. You will see and experience some of the atrocities of the transatlantic slave trade, and learn of the history of Ghana involvement in what was a critical historical period in Africa.

This tour will take you to visit many areas in Accra which is the capital of Ghana. We will visit the city of Kumasi, the Asante Empire and surrounding villages.

We will travel to Cape Coast and Elmina where you will walk into the actual slave dungeons. You will visit the Slave River known as Donor Nsuo where the enslaved took their last bath before a 3 week naked trek through the dense forest to the ships which took them away from their homes.
